In the past we have allowed members to enter state events via the notice board with payment made after the event. At the moment despite several reminders we have about 20 members who still owe for events dating back to 2019. It is not efficient to be constantly chasing members for payments months and years after the event has been played.
I will be sending invoices to those members today for payment either to the account listed on the invoice or payment over the bar. If these could be finalised before the end of June it would be appreciated. If you feel it has been paid then if you can provide the receipt you would have been given or an approximate date of payment and I can follow it up.
Going forward, this practice will cease. If you play in state events someone in your team will need to enter online or payment to the club needs to be made prior to the entries closing. If payment has not been made then the team will not be entered. It is incumbant really on the team to ensure payment is made and the names marked as paid on the sheet, not the bar staff.
